The AidaBella
on her maiden voyage, made a call to Gothenburg. |
Due to her
airdraft, she was berthed in the containerterminal, instead of the freeport,
which is where cruise vessels normally berth. |
The AidaBella
was completed in early 2008, and was delivered to her owners in april 2008.
At 252 meters
and 32.2 meters wide, she can accomodate 2500 passengers on 13 decks, all
served by a crew of 602. |
The Aida-logo
on the bow! |
The center
stage, in the open space, surrounded by restaurants and bars. |
Ship spotters
paradise! |
Several shops
of course, but all closed during port stay, as they are duty free. |
One of the
seven restaurants. |
The view from
the deck just below the bridge. |
And if the
scenery is not to your liking, the rotating couches accommodate video
screens so you can watch whatever you like anyway! |
I am not sure
if this is the first on board pool table, but this one is stabilized with
gyros. |
6400 square
meters of sun deck! And for once, Gothenburg is showing its best side! |
A very
discreet funnel! |
